Bio

Jerry Yu is a photographer currently based in San Francisco, CA, and Auburn, AL. His passion for the medium began during his college years where he immersed himself in courses that spanned art photography, darkroom techniques, and digital photography.  

Jerry's work focuses on the human-altered landscape, drawing inspiration from the New Topographics movement. His photography explores the way urban and rural environments are shaped by human presence and intervention. While his main focus remains on the landscapes around us, he is also drawn to street photography, capturing the decisive moments, and finding beauty in everyday moments,
